Day 1- Arrive Siem Reap

On arrival in Siem Reap, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Siem Reap is the base for exploring the fabled Temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. After relaxing for a short time, you will begin the tour of the temples, that includes the early-Angkor era temples of the Roluos Group – Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei.
In the afternoon our tour continues with visits to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.  Then after watching the sun set at Phnom Bakheng, you will return to your hotel,then the night is free time, to enjoy personal discoveries of Siem Reap.

Day 2- Siem Reap – Angkor Temples

After breakfast you will spend the morning on an extensive tour of the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat, so sacred to Cambodians that it appears on their nations flag.
In the afternoon you will visit Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, the fabulous Ta Prohm, that has been taken over by jungle with large creepers and  some trees there are 300 ft high. The afternoon tour concludes after exploring the smaller twin temples of Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon.

Day 3- Siem Reap – Banteay Srei & River of 1,000 Lingas

After breakfast you will take a full day excursion to the rarely visited Beng Mealea Temple, which, some say, served as a model for the more famous Angkor Wat. You then head to discover the unique riverbed carvings at Kbal Spean (River of 1000 Lingas). On the journey back to Siem Reap you will visit the Citadel of Women, Banteay Srei and finally explore Banteay Samre. The night is free time for you to enjoy your surrounds.

Day 4- Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake

After breakfast, you will enjoy a short walk through the tranquil streets of a typical Siem Reap neighborhood before transferring  to Tonle Sap Lake where  you will board a local boat for a cruise through the floating villages of the lake, before returning to Siem Reap at lunch time.
In the afternoon you will discover the Grand Circuit and the temples of Pre Rup, East Mebon, Neak Pean and Preah Khan. Free time at night for your own personal discoveries.

Day 5- Siem Reap – Departure

Breakfast at hotel, and depending on your departure flight time you may choose a visit to Siem Reap market, the workshops of Artisans d’Angkor (wood and stone carving) or the Angkor Silk Farm at Pouk. If time permits you can visit the Landmine Museum of Mr Aki Ra, before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
